Are we turning into the mySpace generation?

I just realised I have more peoples emails than I do phone numbers. I have added all my family and friends, (and by friends I mean people I have met and built relationships with in the real world), on MSN and mySpace. I never really call anyone anymore, I email and IM them. (It's a bit hard to see most of my mates, I just moved 150 miles) But is this lack of real social interaction with the people that we care about going to lead to an antisocial future?

Are we turning into the mySpace generation?

Ok i have MSN but not my space i am on hi5 though and that is bad enough!!!

My space for me does nothing i dont want the world looking at my picture and deciding if i am "nice" or "not" this is a very sad thing especially for the younger girls i see putting pictures of themselves on there.

I dont call my friends anymore because there really isnt enough hours in the day for me to speak to them so i speak with them on MSN or via email or text. i text ALOT and this for me is easier than speaking to someone but i used to have the beliefs that i should speak to people face-to-face and over the phone and having an hours conversation with a friend is better than a text! But now in the life and times we live in - a text is enough and MSN is even better.. but what can we do to change it?

On the plus side MSN is good to communicate with friends and family you have abroad use a webcam and you can talk to them cheaper then it would cost to call them!!!!

I'm too old for all this yourspace and mytube stuff...

Are we turning into the mySpace generation?

I don't have a myspace for the sheer fact that everyone else does, and thats all people seem to do, is sit and look at them! I have much better things to do with my time.

Are we turning into the mySpace generation?

yes. with the speed and ways we are going. maybe you should read faherinheit 451. i hate to think about it but we might end up like that.

Are we turning into the mySpace generation?

ive resisted, dont use myspace or msn,but i do text a lot,i prefer talking face to face,it seems that women like to use phones and PCs to communicate more than men.

Are we turning into the mySpace generation?

I think that we are i cant go a day with out logging on to my space.

I have alerts on my phone so that i know the moment someone send me and IM Message or a commit on my my space.

I thnk that it is a good thing though b.c we are able to meet new ppl and stay connected.

Thanks
