Everyone tells me how he's such a jerk and a player but he tells me he wants to change and that I'm the only one for him. He hasn't been talking to the other girls.. but still. They just THROW themselves at him. He's constantly getting flirty myspace comments and it bugs me. He told me I'm the only one he loves and cares about but I just don't know what to do. All those girls are a lot prettier and more popular than me, and he's really popular and all the girls like him. Should I take the risk and stay with him?

The guy is probably a player, but then that doesn't explain what he wrote to your friend. If you want to go out with this guy, then just do it! Who cares what anyone else care about? Just take caution with your heart and don't give it to him freely! Make him prove that he is trustworthy to have such a precious thing! He said he would, now let just see! People can change! First a rep isn't good but now days who doesn't have a rep? If you think you like him go really slow like grandma slow.If he's into you he'll dig it.Date go out,the man pays thats grandma slow. No sex and he can't hurt you if and thats a if hes out for one thing.Make him prove himself not a test he's not lab dog.And he never in the past done you wrong so jump start you gotta treat each other with respect and trust.When that trust is broken then theres nothing left.But gotta start clean until given a reason,right?

Been there done that!!! Anyway My point is that my ex was told to be a player , a liar and a cheater. I had my whole...... gym class come up to me and say dump him he's just a jerk. Well anyway when you hear more than seventy people coming up to you, you ought to know there's something wrong. Guys are going to lie to you just so you'll fall for them. Now I'm not saying go and not try to work things out with this guy, but in the end you'll learn your lesson. Don't put yourself down you may not be as pretty or as popular,but this might sound cheesy to you,but it's true and what counts is the kind of person you truly are 'cause ten years from now people aren't going to remember individuals for how pretty or popular they were even though that might seem like the most important thing right now. What counts is being the best person you can be and by that I mean act friendly and not Regina George from the movie Mean Girls. Good luck!
