I have a friend whose a girl. We've known each other forever. Everyone thinks we like each other but for me the attractions just never been there. We were IMing the other day and we were messing around and she sent me this big elaborate rose thing then she sent me a smiley with hearts. We do that stuff all the time and just kind of joke about it. I just said "haha you love me." And she, like, immediately logged off, I haven't talked to her since then. Also, we were talking (real world) and she asked me what I did last night. I told her I had mostly been on MySpace talking to my brother's friend, Bree. She got all stand-offish and jealous-sounding. The more that I think about it, the more I think I might like her in that way, but I don't want to make an *** out of myself by mis-interpreting signs. What do you guys think, does she like me?

Sounds like she may be getting the wrong idea here. Is she someone that you know in real-life or just someone you know strictly from the world of cyber space? Since she's getting jealous and everything you might ought to have a heart to heart with her. It sounds like the 2 of you are on completely different wave lengths. If she gets jealous like that though it could be a sign of something more serious. You might have to break off future conversations with her completely.

if you want to know then be adult enough to bluntly ask her how she really feels about you. She is the only one who really knows. You can play the guessing game forever or simply ask her and find out. You are supposed to be such good friends...you should be able to ask her anything!
